What types of guitar lessons do you offer?
Guitar lessons are suitable for all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. I offer both acoustic and electric guitar tuition, with lessons tailored to each student’s goals, ability, and musical interests.
How do I sign up?
Lessons can be booked online through the calendar booking app. Sessions may be booked individually or in advance for up to a 10-week period.
Do I need to bring my own guitar?
Yes, students are expected to bring their own guitar to lessons. If you’re unsure what type of guitar to purchase, I’m happy to offer advice before you buy.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours are non-refundable and non-reschedulable unless a justified reason applies.

What happens at the end of a 10-week course?
Students select a piece and refine it over the course. By week 10, it is ready for a studio recording using the amps and effects pedals provided. This recording showcases the student’s improvement and serves as a milestone achievement.
How often should I have lessons?
Most students benefit from weekly lessons, but fortnightly options are available depending on goals and availability.
What equipment is provided?
The studio is equipped with a range of guitar amplifiers and effects pedals, providing students with the opportunity to explore tone shaping and creative sound options during lessons.
Can parents sit in on lessons?
Parents are welcome to sit in on lessons for younger students if they wish.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons take place in my custom-built, soundproofed studio in Hoon Hay, designed for focused learning and equipped with a fully functional recording facility.
